A dyad (from Greek dýo, “two”) in sociology is a noun used to describe a group of two people. “Dyadic” is an adjective used to describe this type of communication/interaction. A dyad is the smallest possible social group.
The strength of the relationship is evaluated on the basis of time the individuals spend together, as well as on the emotional intensity of their relationship.
As a regular human being in planet Earth, i’ve had my quota of Dyads. Powerful memories and bonds between two people, congealed in songs. Although one of the musically-described dyads in here is clearly (by the number of songs to it dedicated) more important, all of them had some in impact in my brief life.

Sometimes i wonder what songs would be part of the original soundtrack of my life if it were a pretentious post-teenager tv series. Scavenging around my music library out of boredom and love for post-modern media relationships, i’ve designed a cute little mixtape for everyone’s enjoyment. Snatching the idea and the format from one of my favorite tumblrs, i’ve decided to design themed mixtapes, since music is the only SRSBSNS in my life.
It was only natural that the first theme that came to mind is life itself, filled with it’s intrincacies and contradictions. Thinking about the stages of life i wandered in my i-wish-i-was-so-much-bigger library to find tunes who represented these stages and came to a somewhat decent (at least to me) choice. Each song (two of them very long) represent one step in everyone’s (at least in the post-modern capitalist society, no ethnocentricities here) life.
